Gaga Mistake Day
Gaga days are the best! That’s when this eccentric, mischievous granny babysits her delighted granddaughter. These Gaga days are always full of the silliest “mistakes,” like swapping eyeglasses and walking backward to the park. They might make the house safe by eating all the marshmallow goblins, fill the tub to bursting with bubbles, and then read a bedtime story all the way through upside down. This exuberant and funny book will inspire deliciously goofy, imaginative, and bursting-with-love grandparent-grandchild playdates!

My daughter Emma and I co-authored this book. Here is a recent picture of us, taken by Michael Fusco-Straub.
Jessica Love did the amazingly wonderful illustrations. You can see all of her books, and a photo of her here.
The Fire Chief
The Fire Chief is my self-published book. Initially written for my Fire Fighter obsessed grandson Sebastian, it tells of a brief expedition to the local firehouse shared by a little boy and his grandmother. When a real fire breaks out, these two follow the fire engine and watch from a safe distance. The fire fighters successfully put out the fire, and rescue a cat. It is a wonderful shared adventure for both Grandmother and Grandson.
Andrea Porretta, an illustrator working in Brooklyn, illustrates the brief story with loving illustrations. Her artwork makes the book a REAL picture book.
